Eliza Norma Quintero is an elementary school teacher but take the stage on 2 December, Selena Quintanilla will become a musical tribute to the former queen of Tejano music.
LAREDO, TX .- The event will be held Friday, December 2 at the theater arts center Guadalupe and Lilia Martinez of Laredo Community College, 7:30 o’clock in the evening.
The event is called Band’s 2011 Show and is free and open to the entire community.
Quintero, who is a great imitator of Selena Quintanilla, will perform some of her greatest hits like “Baila Esta Cumbia,” “No Me Queda Mas,” “La carcacha” and “Dreaming of You” among others.
“Selena is hope for all Hispanics who aspire to go far in the field of music,” said Quintero.
She said she enjoys singing their hits because her songs are still in the taste of the people not to forget.
Selena is considered that the level of stars like Beyoncé or Jennifer Lopez and was an example of the importance of working hard and that nothing in life is impossible when you search for truth.
In her musical performances, Quintero will be accompanied by the Banda Show Laredo Community College.
